I spent Wednesday 4th in Bristol. I had intended t I spent Wednesday 4th in Bristol. I had intended to do some serious shopping but the weather was so nice that instead, I just walked and walked* all along the river and around the harbour area. Loved the catkins set against the backdrop of the river. 
* nine miles according to my Fitbit!

The wild periwinkle are just starting to appear in The wild periwinkle are just starting to appear in the hedgerow. Still no sign of the cultivated varieties in my garden though. 
The 1st March is the meteorological first day of Spring (we have to wait till the 20th for the Astronomical first day) and it’s lovely to feel we might just be “ done” with winter.

I seem to be obsessed* with black and yellow at the moment. Those two colours have shown up in a lot of my recent pieces.
