I received a lovely email today. A customer thanking me for pieces she had bought online from here and telling me how delighted she was.

Japan's 2026 cherry blossom season started on Monday with the first blooms opening in Kōchi. This was followed by Nagoya on March 17 and Tokyo on March 19. The first bloom is declared when the official sample tree for the region in question shows five to six buds in bloom.

It is still much too hot to handle so I’ve taken the photos with it still safely inside the kiln. Hopefully, by later tonight I will be able to take it out and have a good look at it!

A posy for Mother’s Day! The marsh marigolds are just starting to appear alongside the wild daffodils down by the river. The yellow flag irises will be next. Love this time of year!siddy-langley-glass.myshopify.com/search?type=product&q=riverbank

I spent Wednesday 4th in Bristol. I had intended to do some serious shopping but the weather was so nice that instead, I just walked and walked* all along the river and around the harbour area. Loved the catkins set against the backdrop of the river. * nine miles according to my Fitbit!siddy-langley-glass.myshopify.com/search?type=product&q=salix
