Dragonflies emerging

My inspiration has always come from nature. Never more than this spring when, with the furnace off, I have had more time to sit quietly by the pond and I have been lucky enough to watch several dragonflies emerge from the pond, gradually straighten out their wings and take their first flight.

The last piece I demonstrated at Devon Open Studio The last piece I demonstrated at Devon Open Studios last Sunday was an Orchid Paperweight.  There was some lilac from the petals leftover on an iron so I made a heart rather than waste the colour.

The last piece I demonstrated at Devon Open Studios last Sunday was an Orchid Paperweight.
