Devon Open Studios has now closed for 2026. It has been a real whirlwind of a week.Among other things, I demonstrated quite a few blue and turquoise pieces and my favourite (so I’ve made it my Piece-of-the-Week!) is a stripy "Clamshell" vase.The first stripy one I made (the vase at the back) I do like but, sadly, it is a second as it has pulled a thread of glass inside. Devon Open Studios is in full swing and the first weekend has been busy and fun.My Piece-of-the-Week is one I made yesterday (Saturday) after explaining to a visitor that, counter intuitively, it is sometimes better to make a stopper first and then, as long as you are quick, offer it up to the scent bottle you are making in order to check the size of the opening.I made these three stoppers a couple of years ago and am only now getting round to making bottles to go with them!#DevonOpenStudios2026 #DevonOpenStudios #DevonArtists #DevonArt #VisitDevon siddy-langley-glass.myshopify.com/products/pink-and-green-oval-scent-bottle?_pos=1&_sid=a41cef86f…
