Never more than this spring when, with the furnace off, I have had more time to sit quietly by the pond and I have been lucky enough to watch several dragonflies emerge from the pond, gradually straighten out their wings and take their first flight.

Dragonfly just emerged from the pond.

This one emerged in the early morning and I love the way the rain drops are like jewels on the wings

I feel a new piece could come from this……………..
