Etruscan ginger jar

This piece was made in about 1988.

I electroformed copper directly onto the glass surface, and then patinated it to get a verdigris effect.

Though it is an interesting technique, these pieces took weeks to make and I eventually had to abandon the design as uneconomic.

This piece was approx 200mm high
